Location: Toronto, Ontario (In-Office) (King & Spadina) Work Schedule: Monday – Friday Salary Range: $115,000-$140,000 CAD per year AI Disclosure: We do not use artificial intelligence to screen, assess, or select applicants for this position. Vacancy Status: This posting is for an existing vacancy at our Toronto office. BrightIT is a high-velocity tech hub focused on delivering world-class digital solutions for the iGaming sector. We bridge the gap between creative startup culture and industrial-scale execution. Mission: Empowering brands through bold, responsible technology. Vision: Creating a home for the brightest minds in tech to redefine the gaming landscape. We are looking for an Advertising Designer with strong hands-on visual production skills. This is a practical, execution-focused design role (not an art director position). The designer will be responsible for producing high-impact marketing visuals across sports betting and gaming campaigns. Why is this role needed We already have a strong in-house design team operating across Cyprus, Armenia, and Spain. However, due to the time zone difference, our current team cannot produce and adjust social media content quickly enough for the Canadian market. This role is intended to: Ensure timely creation and editing of social media creatives for the Canadian audience. Provide local cultural and visual insight into Canadian sports and gaming advertising. The designer must be able to work hands-on, take ownership of tasks, and operate confidently without continuous art direction. Core Responsibilities: Create advertising key visuals and promotional graphics for sports betting and gaming campaigns. Generate image concepts using advanced generative AI tools (Midjourney alone is not enough). Candidates should be familiar with tools such as Stable Diffusion or have broad, practical experience with multiple AI-generation workflows. Perform high-end retouching and enhancement in Photoshop. Assemble final deliverables in Figma. Apply localized visual and cultural context relevant to Canadian audiences. Make basic motion edits to existing After Effects video assets (e.g., text changes, logo swaps, simple transitions). Collaborate with the core design team while working independently during Canadian daytime hours. What we are NOT looking for: Pure art directors who no longer work hands-on. Branding or corporate identity designers. UI/UX designers focused mainly on product interfaces. Designers whose portfolio is mostly minimal, clean, fintech-style layout work. The visuals in our category must be bold, dynamic, and attention-grabbing, not minimalistic. Required Skills: Strong advertising composition: light, color, dynamic layouts. Advanced retouching in Photoshop. Practical experience with generative AI tools beyond Midjourney (Stable Diffusion strongly preferred). Confident Figma workflow. Basic motion design / After Effects editing ability (not full animation production, but capable of meaningful edits). Understanding of Canadian & U.S. sports, entertainment, or gaming cultural context. Nice to Have: 3D skills (any level). Experience preparing print-ready materials. Experience designing App Store / Google Play product pages. We view responsible gambling not just as a regulatory requirement, but as a core ethical responsibility and a pillar of our sustainable business model, ensuring we lead the industry in player protection and social integrity. At the heart of our platform is a sophisticated responsible gambling framework designed to protect our community. We take pride in being a socially conscious operator that leverages technology to ensure gaming remains safe, transparent, and sustainable for everyone.
