The Opportunity The HR Business Partner is a highly visible, employee-facing role responsible for delivering the full spectrum of HR support across the organization. This role acts as a trusted partner to employees and managers, ensuring a positive employee experience while supporting business objectives. You will be a true generalist—equally comfortable managing employee relations, coordinating engagement initiatives, supporting HR programs, and handling day-to-day HR operations. This is a hands‑on role ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment and enjoys building structure while staying close to people. Key Responsibilities & Job Duties Employee Relations & Support Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and guidance Support managers with employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, investigations, and performance issues Ensure consistent, fair, and compliant application of company policies and employment legislation Promote a respectful, inclusive, and high-performance workplace culture Employee Experience & Engagement Lead and support the Social Committee, driving engagement initiatives across locations Plan and execute employee events, recognition programs, and culture-building activities Design, launch, and analyze employee engagement surveys; recommend and track action plans Gather employee feedback and provide insights to leadership HR Programs & Operations Support the full employee lifecycle: onboarding, development, and off‑onboarding Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation Assist with policy development, updates, and communication Partner with payroll and benefits teams to support employee questions and changes Performance & Development Support performance management processes, including reviews and corrective actions Coach managers on feedback, documentation, and employee development Help drive consistency and accountability across teams Compliance & Reporting Ensure compliance with Canadian employment standards and company policies Support audits, reporting, and HR metrics tracking (turnover, engagement, etc.) Maintain confidentiality and integrity of employee information Qualifications & Key Competencies 5+ years of progressive HR experience in a generalist or similar role Strong knowledge of Canadian employment legislation Experience handling employee relations issues and supporting investigations Proven ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities Excellent communication, judgment, and problem‑solving skills Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, evolving environment CHRP/CHRL designation (or working toward) is an asset #J-18808-Ljbffr
