We are seeking an experiencedApplication Developerto support the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of a critical enterprise application (CSDS). The successful candidate will work closely with technical and business stakeholders to design, develop, test, and support secure, high-quality application solutions in a public-sector environment.This role requires on-site work in Fredericton, New Brunswick, beginning on the specified start date.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain and enhance the CSDS application by evaluating business and client needsMaintain and extend PL/SQL packages, including new functionality and defect resolutionMaintain and support a Java-based applicationDevelop SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and triggersConduct unit, functional, and regression testing; document test cases and resultsCreate, update, and maintain functional and technical specificationsParticipate in system analysis, design, development, integration, configuration, and implementation activitiesContribute to user experience and interface designEnsure secure application design and coding standards are met for all releasesSupport performance tuning and optimization initiatives as requiredCollaborate with and contribute to team practices and standardsComplete assigned development and design tasksPerform other related duties as assignedRequired Qualifications (Must Haves)University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experienceMinimum5 years of application programming and analysis experienceMinimum5 years of demonstrated experience with CA Gen (version 8.5 or higher)Minimum5 years of demonstrated experience with SQLMinimum3 years of experiencedeveloping, documenting, coding, testing, and implementing technical solutions to meet business requirementsMinimum3 years of experience with SSRSMinimum3 years of experience supporting public-sector health care applications and/or systemsin a Canadian province or jurisdictionMinimum2 years of experiencewith JBoss and/or TomcatMinimum2 years of experiencewith service management processes and tools (e.g., incident, change, request, release management)Minimum2 years of experienceworking in UNIX/Linux environmentsMinimum1 year of experienceusing version control softwareStrong English communication skills (written and verbal)Ability to work on-site in Fredericton, NB starting February 2, 2026#J-18808-Ljbffr
