Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the Investment Operations team, including trade bookings, settlements, corporate actions, and reconciliations with prime brokers and counterparties. Support the launch of new processes and products. Assess and enhance the department’s control environment, identifying risks and implementing proactive measures to strengthen internal controls. Recommend and implement improvements to systems, workflows, responsibilities, and reporting. Coordinate testing of new technologies before deployment and communicate findings to the team and management. Maintain strong relationships with business partners and ensure service level expectations are met. Assist with ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed. Requirements Minimum of 6 years’ experience in hedge fund operations or a related field. Proven ability to solve problems proactively, with managerial and project management experience. Strong understanding of fund structures across multiple asset classes. Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and perform well under pressure. Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach. Highly motivated, eager to learn, and willing to take on responsibilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, SUMIFS, pivot tables). Familiarity with VBA and SQL is a plus.
