We offer full-stack professional services and help merchants migrate, build, and grow on Shopify through design, development, and custom app work. We’re small, scrappy, and one of the fastest growing Shopify Partners - so the impact of your closed‑won deals will be felt immediately across the company. What do we need help with? We’ve been growing quickly and are looking for a full-cycle professional services sales professional, experienced in leading opportunities with many stakeholders across the finish line while delivering an incredible merchant experience from first call to close. Some of your responsibilities include: Owning full‑cycle sales for both inbound and outbound professional services opportunities. Identify, qualify, discover, demo, propose, negotiate, close. Generating pipeline via outbound email, social, phone, events, and co‑marketing with Shopify directly and partners. Running tailored discovery calls to deeply understand merchant goals, pain points, and success metrics. Crafting compelling proposals & SOWs that articulate ROI and align scope of Symmetry Commerce services with budget & timeline. Collaborating with project managers & solution engineers to ensure accurate scoping, smooth hand‑off and quality solutions. Forecasting accurately and maintaining up‑to‑date activity notes in our systems of record. Exceeding monthly and quarterly revenue targets while upholding win‑win, merchant‑first values and project profitability tenants. Representing Symmetry Commerce at virtual and in‑person events, occasionally traveling across North America (~10%). Networking with both Shopify and tech partners sales teams to maintain healthy network of referral partners. Helping build the Symmetry Commerce brand, while generating top of funnel leads through social media and online forums including Linkedin, X, Reddit, and Shopify Community Forums. Maintaining the highest level of quality and merchant experience, our reputation is built on high quality work and always providing an incredible merchant experience. We expect you to always represent the best our team has to offer, both online and offline What experience do we need? 2-5years closing new business in for a professional services department at an agency or SaaS platform preferably in the Shopify ecosystem Experience with the range of Shopify licensing options and suite of unified commerce products. Experience working with brands with revenues of $5M-$150M/year Proven record of meeting/over‑achieving a quarterly new‑logo quota Comfortable running 30‑60minute discovery & solution demos with brand executives and decision makers Fluency in common sales methodologies (MEDDPICC, Challenger, etc.) and deal hygiene. Strong written & verbal communication; can craft persuasive outreach and lead cold calls and video demos confidently. Experience leading negotiations, ability to identify high value give-gets and driving win‑win outcomes Deep knowledge of ecommerce & Shopify ecosystem or ability to ramp quickly. What experience is an asset, but not required? Experience selling Shopify softawre and services - majority of our service‑based projects involve migrating merchants from other ecommerce platforms to Shopify, knowledge and a point of view on the Shopify platform will be invaluable. Experience selling web builds, migrations, or retainers in the $25k–$250k range. Familiarity with Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, OpenPhone, Monday, and other sales softwares. Experience in co‑marketing motions with tech/agency partners. Formal sales training or certifications (CPSL, Sandler, etc.). Why work with us?
