Lead Coordinator – Inventory Management Cardinal, which employs more than 1,400 people in Canada, is a vital link in the Canadian healthcare supply chain, supplying more than 70,000 products to healthcare facilities and professionals across the country. We are looking for a positive, team‑oriented individual to join our Dorval distribution center as Lead Coordinator – Inventory Management. The Inventory Management Department is responsible for developing and implementing a model to optimize bin allocation and profiling in order to reduce costs, improve warehouse productivity, and positively impact safety and quality. Members of the inventory coordinator team will analyze existing inventory, resolve discrepancies related to receiving, validate incoming shipments, supervise regular inventory counts, and ensure that inventory management is accurate and efficient, thereby contributing to customer satisfaction and reducing costs. Working hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Location Dorval, QC Your role within the organization Manage and review various reports to ensure they are error‑free before approval by the supervisor Resolve minor issues and answer general questions from the team, escalating as needed Work closely with management to ensure compliance with safety, productivity, and quality standards Analyze the department’s dashboard and identify areas for improvement with the supervisor’s assistance In collaboration with the supervisor, plan and coordinate the assignment of daily tasks based on departmental priorities Comply with SOX reporting requirements and manage quality‑assurance related events Report and resolve discrepancies in inventory receipts and shipments Process customer returns, resolve errors, and verify the accuracy of cycle counts Manage warehouse area maintenance (e.g., out‑of‑zone, out‑of‑section, 123 reports, multiple SKUs) Assist with profiling and service issues Facilitate team meetings, including discussions on safety and quality as needed Participate in training new employees on company and department procedures, as needed Ensure that employees always follow health and safety rules Perform additional quality‑control duties as needed This position is for you if you meet the following criteria At least 3 years of relevant experience (preferred) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Fluency in French or bilingualism required (colleagues in Canada and the United States) High school diploma (minimum) Advanced computer skills, ability to master AIMS Next, SAP, and Microsoft Office Willingness to work overtime as needed Ability to solve problems and multitask, adapt to change, and reprioritize within tight deadlines Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies – Continuous Improvement (preferred) Ability to work on complex problems requiring autonomy and initiative Ability to make recommendations regarding the implementation or revision of processes and to participate in their implementation Benefits Comprehensive medical and dental coverage and life insurance starting on the first day Pension plan with employer matching contributions after three months of employment Participation in the incentive compensation program Paid vacation and sick leave Tuition reimbursement In‑house training on safety procedures, job duties, and equipment Employment Equity Statement Cardinal is committed to employment equity and encourages women, visible minorities, Indigenous peoples, and people with disabilities to apply.
