Location: Windsor, ON Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping has an immediate opportunity for an IT Applications Engineer in our Windsor, Ontario facility. The IT Application Engineer will serve as the first level of support for all departments for end‑user transactions in the ERP system in addition to supporting other business applications. The ideal candidate will have prior ERP experience, be self‑motivated and thrive in a fast‑paced work environment. Summary of Responsibilities The IT ERP Systems Analyst primarily focuses on supporting the CCTS ERP system. The position is a liaison between technical personnel and end‑user departments while evaluating and translating requirements to technical associates and/or vendors. The role serves as the functional subject‑matter expert for the primary ERP system, requiring a detailed understanding of ERP software features, functionality, and its integrations with other modules or applications. The role will support both ERP systems and business process improvement efforts for processes that are enabled by the system. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements Strong technical skills in SQL, with hands‑on troubleshooting and performance optimization experience. Working knowledge of EDI processes, including diagnosing and resolving transaction failures. Strong communication, problem‑solving, and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting. Preferred Requirements Extensive experience (5–10 years) with an ERP system in a manufacturing environment. 3–5 years of experience with IBM System i system administration and DB2. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field. Relevant industry certifications are a plus. The salary range for this role is $70,000 – $90,000. Pay within the range will be based on education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location and organizational needs.
