The XVA IT Lead Business Analyst is a senior leadership role responsible for bridging the gap between XVA business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring clear and actionable communication. This role is pivotal in driving the strategic development and delivery of XVA platforms, with a particular focus on Regulatory initiatives and overall product management. The primary objective is to continuously analyze business needs, influence the product roadmap, and deliver innovative solutions that enhance XVA capabilities and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities Lead the development of innovative technical solutions for XVA business needs, specifically for Regulatory requirements, and manage complex, high-volume applications in partnership with XVA business and risk stakeholders. Oversee multiple workstreams and applications across geographies pertinent to XVA systems, Regulatory deliverables, and related risk management applications. Drive the formulation of strategies and processes for the XVA Product Roadmap, encompassing development, governance, and defining standards for new automation initiatives within XVA IT. Develop compelling communication to guide, influence, and align diverse stakeholders, including business users, technology teams, and external partners. Provide expert advice and counsel on XVA technology and operational processes, filtering, prioritizing, and validating complex requirements from various sources, particularly those related to Regulatory frameworks. Appropriately assess risk when making business decisions, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations (especially Regulatory frameworks), adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency. Qualifications 6+ years of progressive experience in business analysis or systems analysis within financial services, with a strong focus on XVA, Regulatory compliance, or related capital markets risk management initiatives. Proven experience with Fundamental Review of the Trading Book (FRTB) regulations. Demonstrated expertise in presenting complex information and utilizing product planning and roadmap tools. Proven diplomatic and analytical skills, with an ability to negotiate and influence across diverse groups. Proven ability to manage complex, high-impact issues by evaluating various action plans and balancing potentially conflicting business and regulatory needs (e.g., Regulatory compliance vs. operational efficiency). Education Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field. Master's degree preferred.
