Responsibilities A Network Engineer is responsible for the setup, configuration, and running of network deployments and buildouts. This includes hands‑on work in a datacenter lab environment: buildouts, deployments, configuring network elements to pass traffic through the test setup, configuring a traffic generator, troubleshooting issues with the baseline test setup, gathering test data, analyzing the test data for root causes and building test reports, and working with stakeholders and DCS teams. Qualifications 1 year of software design and development experience using Python and YAML. 2 years of experience in network buildout deployments. 2 years of experience with datacenter switches and routers (Arista, Cisco, Juniper). Experience with one or more network element OS: EOS, NX‑OS, IOS, JUNOS, SONiC. Experience with Layer 2 protocols: VLAN, bridges, Ethernet. Good knowledge in Python or PowerShell scripting. Previous MS experience is a plus. Firewall management. Technical Skills Mandatory Skills : L2, L3 switching and routing protocols, testing, networking. Good to Have Skills : Arista DC/Branch routers and switches, DC architecture, network infrastructure. Required Certifications and Tools Must hold CCNP level networking certification. Python proficiency required. Good to have PowerShell basics. Routing protocols such as BGP, link‑state algorithms, VXLAN, EGP MPLS, RSVP with traffic engineering knowledge, practical troubleshooting, and design experience.
