In addition, candidates must have at least two years of external financial statement audit experience gained within the last five years. Experience with all phases of external financial statement audits – scoping, planning, executing, and reporting. Experience in assessing, analyzing, or applying accounting standards (International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and/or Public Sector Accounting Standards (PSAS) and/or another recognized accounting framework) and assurance standards. Experience assessing or applying internal controls. Experience managing and supervising project deliverables and assigning audit related tasks. Experience in writing analyses and findings and in presenting recommendations.
