Kingston, ON | Part-Time / Casual Contract | Incorporated Contractor PreferredOur client is seeking a Structural Engineer or Building Envelope Engineer to provide part-time contract support for project site reviews in the Kingston, Ontario area.This is a flexible opportunity suited to an independent consultant, incorporated engineer, sole practitioner, semi-retired engineer, or experienced technical professional who is interested in casual project-based work over the next several months.The work will involve attending active construction and restoration sites, reviewing exterior wall and cladding-related work, documenting field observations, and completing standard site review reports within 24–48 hours of each visit.The ideal candidate will have a background in structural engineering, building envelope consulting, façade restoration, cladding systems, EIFS, exterior wall assemblies, or construction review. Experience with EIFS — Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems — would be a strong asset.While a professional engineering designation is preferred, the client may also consider a technically strong candidate with relevant field review, building envelope, cladding, restoration, or construction inspection experience.The Opportunity This is not a full-time role.
