Gather inputs and ensure production of risk indicators and reliability targets. Participate in defining methodologies, assessment scales, and tools for risk identification and evaluation. Ensure comprehensive process coverage through frameworks: policies, procedures, and methodologies. Inventory processes, tools, and systems. Participate in assessing risks applicable to each process. Determine each process’s exposure level to identified risks (RCSA). Assess the effectiveness of risk mitigation measures (controls). Determine residual risks. Plan, coordinate, and oversee testing activities; identify and propose risk treatment measures. Support incident management and ensure notification to the Bank of Canada and escalation when required. Track operational losses. Monitor reliability indicators and targets. Ensure reporting related to operational risk (annual report, incident report, project analysis report). Demonstrate openness to emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, and act as a change ambassador to support adoption within teams. Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role Previous experience in risk management Critical thinking and strong logical reasoning Professional judgment in ambiguous contexts Ability to prioritize based on risk level and impact Ability to produce clear, well‑documented reports Ability to simplify complex analyses Experience interacting with IT, operations, compliance, and legal teams Strong sense of confidentiality Professional integrity Adherence to procedures and control frameworks Ability to manage stress and deadlines Ability to work on multiple files simultaneously Quick decision‑making without compromising quality Bilingualism (French/English) Openness to emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, and willingness to act as a change ambassador within teams CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $60,000–$115,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
