Whether through the implementation of technological solutions or the optimization of processes, the Continuous Improvement team works collaboratively with operations teams across our banners (Metro Quebec, Metro Ontario, Super C, Food Basics, Adonis) to simplify and improve the experience of both our customers and our employees. The successful candidate is a natural leader with strong skills in program coordination, strategic thinking, delegation, and the ability to effectively manage relationships with multiple stakeholders at all organizational levels. This key role is responsible for establishing, leading, and maintaining best practices in program and project management at a national level. The incumbent will be responsible for organizing, leading, and delivering a portfolio of transformation projects and activities to achieve results and realize benefits of strategic importance to the organization. Your Responsibilities As Program Manager Manage a portfolio of complex initiatives spanning one or more business lines. Ensure the proper execution of the program, including end-to-end implementation from initiation through post-deployment follow-up. Proactively establish and lead the implementation of roadmaps, business strategies, governance, processes, and program management tools. Define and maintain organizational standards for satisfaction, quality, and performance. Implement and continuously manage tools to monitor program performance (roadmaps, strategy, governance, processes, etc.). Guide project teams in implementing standard project management practices, processes, and tools in alignment with program roadmaps and strategies. Develop and manage program key performance indicators (KPIs), such as scope, timelines, overall program budget, resources, risks, and benefits, in order to oversee overall execution and provide solutions when issues arise. Prepare and present program performance reports to stakeholders, outlining status, progress, risks, issues, and mitigation plans. Work collaboratively with directors and executives on budgeting and planning for the continuous improvement program to ensure stakeholder alignment and obtain required approvals. Engage program stakeholders by creating and facilitating open and consistent communication channels. Define and promote continuous improvement of program and project management practices to ensure long-term sustainability. Qualifications We Are Looking For Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Project Management, or a related field 5 to 7 years of experience in project/program management Strong knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes Solid financial knowledge, including large-scale program/project budgeting Bilingualism required (French and English, spoken and written) Retail industry experience (an asset) Willingness to travel, as travel is required for this role (Ontario and Quebec) Additional Assets Visionary and strategic mindset, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong leadership abilities, with the capacity to influence executive behavior and organizational culture Highly developed problem‑solving and critical thinking skills The responsibilities and relationships assigned to this role may change as is necessary to achieve Metro's business objectives. #J-18808-Ljbffr
