Position Description This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto and/or Client office at a minimum 2 day per week - subject to change at any time. Your future duties and responsibilities Leads the execution of day-to-day project and task-oriented work efforts and meeting customer expectations for contracted time, cost and specification definitions Leads and coordinates communication with all areas of the enterprise required to set up infrastructure/technical environment required for the project delivery. Leads the operational readiness activities for the project. Negotiates IT project requirements (i.e., deadlines, budgets, resources, etc.). Builds and maintains solid, professional working relationships with peers within the project management and business lines. Meets scheduled milestones to ensure project/program objectives are met in a timely manner, has an in-depth knowledge of the principles, theories, practices and techniques for managing the activities related to planning, managing and implementing software solutions Creates implementation strategy and documents the steps in the implementation checklist. Manages Releases and emergency changes (ECRs) from start to finish. Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role 5+ years of experience in IT, software development, or project/program management 2–3+ years of experience specifically in release management, change management, or DevOps environments Experience managing releases in Agile / Scrum / SAFe environments Experience working in cross-functional teams (Dev, QA, Ops, Business) Technical Skills Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab) CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80,000–$130,000. This role is an existing vacancy.
