Your team dynamics The "SC SaaS Video Device Integration" team is responsible for developing and integrating device drivers within Genetec's various new platforms for the SC SaaS product. Our solution exposes device interfaces to clients to enable communication and command-and-control capabilities. This generally involves cameras and the many manufacturers we integrate with. Your day at a glance Participate in the analysis, design, and implementation of new features for device integration using object-oriented programming. Create automated tests to monitor the status of various services and ensure proper functionality. Develop secure APIs and integrate third-party APIs. Work in an Agile environment, in close collaboration with quality assurance specialists, product managers, and other teams. What makes you a great fit Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience. Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development. Strong knowledge of at least one object-oriented programming language, ideally C#. Motivated to work in a dynamic environment and to take on new challenges. Enthusiasm for teamwork and collaboration. Fluent in French and English, both oral and written (this role requires interactions with international partners and customers). Assets Knowledge of Golang. Understanding of the .NET ecosystem. Experience building and managing containerized applications with Docker. Knowledge of cloud development. Familiarity with Kanban or other Agile methodologies.
