Committed to excellence and innovation, they are seeking a highly skilled Senior PSA/PSHA Engineer to support future Probabilistic Safety Assessment (PSA) and Probabilistic Seismic Hazard Assessment (PSHA) reviews and analysis activities within a nuclear generating environment.This role will support critical nuclear safety and seismic risk assessment initiatives by preparing, reviewing, and validating seismic hazard analyses and technical calculations while collaborating with utility stakeholders and multidisciplinary engineering teams.The ideal candidate brings strong experience in nuclear probabilistic risk assessment methodologies, seismic hazard analysis, and regulated engineering environments.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review Probabilistic Seismic Hazard Assessments (PSHA)Prepare, review, and validate PSHA technical reports and supporting documentationPerform and review technical calculations and engineering analyses supporting PSHA reviewsSupport probabilistic safety assessment (PSA/PRA) activities related to seismic riskInterface with utility stakeholders, engineering teams, and technical reviewersEnsure technical work complies with applicable nuclear, seismic, and regulatory standardsParticipate in technical discussions, risk evaluations, and safety review activitiesSupport regulatory and licensing documentation as requiredProvide technical expertise and recommendations related to seismic probabilistic risk assessmentsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Geological Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or a related disciplineOntario Professional Engineer (P.Eng.)
