What is the opportunity? Reporting to the Custody Domain Program Director, the Senior Project Manager, WII Business Technology is responsible for managing the initiation, planning, and execution of waterfall/agile projects. The role requires expertise in managing vendor deliverables, integration, data, and reporting, and building relationships across IT, Vendor, and Business stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Job ResponsibilitiesManage program initiatives, sometimes with multiple workstreams that may be overseen by other PMs or Scrum Masters.Apply experience and knowledge to execute a variety of assignments.Act as a liaison, building collaboration among team members and vendors, including RBC IT teams and product partners.Develop and manage detailed schedules, identify early warning indicators, and provide direction for early resolution of risks and issues, with a clear escalation path for project committees.Prepare PARs and oversee financials and staffing levels to meet project delivery requirements, complete risk assessments, and track value for effective decision-making.Create senior‑level presentations and project communications for Senior Director and VP audiences.Initiate process improvements and promote agile enablement within the team.Qualifications – Must Have10+ years of combined Project Management and Scrum Master experience on medium‑to‑high complexity initiatives, including 5+ years in Agile Project Management and/or Senior Scrum Master roles, with expertise in both waterfall and Agile methodologies.Extensive experience managing technology and business projects that are highly complex, involve systems integration, and require organizational change management.Proven ability to manage high‑visibility projects with strong executive presence, excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.Undergraduate degree and certifications such as CSM, PMP, or equivalent.
