To support and improve customer service levels and operational performance by translating sales demand into aligned, executable production and procurement plans. This role ensures accurate demand planning, effective coordination across Sales and Operations, and reliable data inputs to planning tools and systems. Position Summary: As an integral part of the Supply Chain team, the Sales & Operations Planning Analyst serves as the primary connection between Sales and Operations. The role focuses on interpreting demand forecasts, managing planning tools and data, and coordinating cross‑functional activities to ensure production schedules and procurement plans align with anticipated demand. The Sales & Operations Planning Analyst monitors upcoming demand, identifies risks and constraints, and works proactively with stakeholders to support on‑time production, promotions, and customer fulfillment. Interpret sales forecasts, promotional plans, and demand signals provided by the Sales team. Ensure demand forecasts are accurately entered, updated, and maintained within Excel-based planning tools and the company’s ERP system. Translate sales demand into actionable production and procurement requirements, considering lead times, capacity, and inventory constraints. Maintain and ensure accuracy of Excel-based planning and analytical tools used to support production and procurement decision-making. Coordinate closely with Operations, Logistics, Quality, Procurement, and other internal teams to align demand plans with execution capabilities. Track and manage interconnected schedules related to production, procurement, and promotional timelines. Proactively identify potential risks to supply, production, or deadlines and coordinate mitigation actions with relevant stakeholders. Communicate changes in demand, priorities, and timelines clearly to cross-functional teams. Summarize and explain complex planning scenarios and data-driven insights to stakeholders not directly involved in daily operational activities. Participate in regular demand, supply, and forecasting meetings. Ensure follow‑up on action items and commitments across departments to keep plans on track. Desired Qualifications: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly convey complex and interconnected planning information. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and support planning decisions. Experience working with ERP systems and demand planning tools. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment. Project management mindset with strong organizational and follow‑up skills. Post secondary certificate and/or degree required 3-5 years experience in supply chain, inventory management, or a related discipline.
