Overview As a Senior Workplace Consultant and Lead Strategist, you will serve as the bridge between organizational vision and the physical environment. In this high-impact role, you will be "nimble and multi-faceted," acting as a strategic advisor to C-Suite clients while driving integrated business development within our brokerage teams. You will lead the "Strategy-First" approach, ensuring that real estate decisions are rooted in data, culture, and operational efficiency. Working in a collaborative, rapid-growth structure, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of Workplace Consulting, from high-level intelligence and hybrid modeling to design oversight and change management, supporting the successful delivery of national and global mandates. The base salary is aligned with market data and is estimated to range from $125,000-$140,000 with the ability to achieve additional compensation through a bonus. Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and other factors, including relevant education/training, experience, and internal equity. Responsibilities Workplace Intelligence & Strategic Advisory Current State Audits: Lead comprehensive diagnostic assessments of existing portfolios using quantitative and qualitative data. Business Alignment: Facilitate executive-level workshops to align real estate footprints with long-term corporate goals (ESG, Talent Retention, Growth). Stakeholder Engagement: Design and lead multi-modal engagements, including employee surveys, leadership focus groups, and proprietary visioning sessions. Predictive Analytics: Utilize hybrid scenario modeling and mobility profiling to determine optimal future-state space requirements. Programming & Metrics: Develop complex space programs, test fits (AutoCAD), and "Kit of Parts" standards that define the future of the client’s workplace. National Playbooks: Author global/national workplace guidelines that ensure consistency across a client’s diverse geographic portfolio. Design Advisory & Quality Assurance Strategic Oversight: Serve as the client’s representative during the design process, ensuring that external design partners remain aligned with the established workplace strategy and mobility requirements. Value Engineering Support: Advise clients on finish concepts, specifications, and furniture procurement that meet functional, aesthetic, and budgetary goals. Change Engagement & Transformation Transformation Roadmaps: Develop comprehensive change strategies that address the "human element" of workplace shifts. Journey Mapping: Manage communication plans and leadership coaching to guide employees through the workplace transition. Post-Occupancy Evaluation (POE): Conduct formal evaluations post-move to measure success against original strategic KPIs and provide data-backed adjustments. Business Development & Brokerage Enablement Winning Mandates: Partner with Brokers to lead the workplace strategy portion of "win-loss" pitches, providing the strategic "hook" that differentiates our firm. Revenue Growth: Identify opportunities to upsell consulting services to existing brokerage clients and drive new fee-based revenue streams. Thought Leadership: Act as a subject matter expert for the Canadian market, contributing to white papers, webinars, and industry events (CoreNet, IFMA, etc.). Internal Education: Build deep relationships with cross-functional teams to demystify workplace strategy and empower brokers to identify strategic leads earlier in the sales cycle. Qualifications Experience & Education Professional Depth: 10–15 years of progressive experience in Workplace Strategy, Interior Design, or Management Consulting. Sector Expertise: Proven track record in a highly transactional, fast-paced brokerage or design-build environment. Education: Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or a related field. Certifications: NCIDQ, ARIDO, PMP, or Prosci (Change Management) certifications are highly desirable. Technical Skills Design Tools: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD (required); Revit or 3D modeling/rendering skills are a significant asset. Visual Communication: Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop) to produce client-facing boards and reports. Data Analysis: High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint to translate survey data into compelling visual narratives. Leadership Abilities Multi-Project Mastery: Demonstrated ability to manage 5–10 concurrent projects at various lifecycle stages without compromising quality. Communication: An effective communicator who can explain technical design details to C-Suite executives and brokers.
