As Senior Marketing Communications Manager , you'll craft community level, ground‑game narratives across social media, and multi‑channel campaigns that don't just reach audiences—they move them. You will develop and execute integrated marketing communications strategies that bring our brand to life in select communities across Quebec, leveraging social media mastery, digital innovation, and content excellence to create campaigns that matter. You will manage the TELUS QC social media channels ensuring relevant brand content is elevated, maintaining the engagement and strategy set for these channels. What you’ll do Social Media & Community Management Develop comprehensive social media strategies across all platforms with content calendars and publishing schedules, collaborating closely with the national social media team. Monitor trends, manage community engagement Develop and manage influencer marketing strategies and partnerships Execute strategies, writing, scheduling and publishing original text, images and video content across all platforms Manage stakeholder requests and collaborate with teams across the organization Digital Marketing & Content Strategy Brief internal studios and agency partners on editorial/creative needs, providing clear feedback on concepts and ensuring all creative is optimized for social consumption Create compelling content strategies and materials to support product launches and community activations Ensure brand consistency across all digital touchpoints Analytics & Optimization Analyze social media metrics to optimize performance Conduct data‑driven campaign analysis and identify improvement opportunities Optimize campaigns based on performance data and insights Stakeholder & Agency Management Partner with sales, product, operations, and regional teams to align and localize strategies Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors Present campaign strategies and results to executive stakeholders Qualifications Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or related field 7–10 years in marketing communications, digital marketing, or social media management 3–5 years in a senior or leadership role Proven track record of successful multi‑channel campaign execution Deep knowledge of Quebec market cultural and linguistic specificities Telecommunications, technology, or B2C industry experience (asset) Experience with the creative process, including brief development, and video production is considered an asset Technical Skills Expert knowledge of social media platforms and management tools (Hootsuite, Sprout Social) Proficiency in analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) and marketing automation Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and video editing software Knowledge of CRM systems and marketing technology stack Interpersonal Skills Exceptional bilingual communication skills in French and English (mandatory) – Advanced English proficiency required for regular interactions with external parties and internal stakeholders Strong knowledge of social media platforms from both creative and technical perspectives – Awareness of latest algorithm changes, trending music, and ability to post content confidently Strategic storytelling and creative problem‑solving Data‑driven analytical mindset Project management excellence in fast‑paced environments Excellent interpersonal and relationship‑building skills with a collaborative mindset - Ability to work effectively with many different teams and build strong, collaborative working relationships Flexibility with your time – Understanding that social media needs can sometimes occur after office hours Proven ability to balance competing interests – Ability to prioritize effectively and devise and implement appropriate business strategies Your new career chapter starts here.
