Salary Opportunity : $118,400+ (starting base pay will depend on experience and skills). Bonus : Target $41,440. This role may also be eligible for discretionary long‑term incentive awards. Job Responsibilities Lead tax planning strategies aligned with corporate objectives. Lead, coach, and train the tax team. Stay abreast of legislative changes to ensure appropriate planning, compliance, and reporting with federal/provincial tax laws. Oversee tax audits, including government and external auditor inquiries, and resolve audit issues. Review all tax filings, including corporate, sales, excise, and non‑resident tax filings. Collaborate with finance, legal, and external advisors. Provide guidance on tax implications of business decisions and initiatives. Drive continuous improvement in tax processes and controls. Job Qualifications Undergraduate degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA designation or working toward CPA preferred. 6+ years of relevant tax experience in public accounting or industry. Strong technical knowledge of Canadian tax legislation (income and/or indirect tax). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with SAP is an asset. Completion of CPA In‑Depth Tax courses or Master of Taxation is an asset. Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset.
