Job Details Job type: 8‑week contract, 30‑35 hour work week Salary: 22$ per hour Languages: Bilingual, French & English Responsibilities Outreach & Engagement : Identify and connect with local community partners, organizations, and potential venues to increase program visibility. Volunteer Engagement : Support the recruitment cycle, including screening applicants and conducting orientation sessions to ensure new volunteers feel supported and ready. Event Support : Assist in the planning and execution of both in‑person community gatherings and online webinars/workshops. Database Management : Maintain and update our CRM/database to ensure accurate tracking of outreach efforts, volunteer hours, and community growth. Administrative Support : Assist with scheduling, newsletters, and general communication. Qualifications A passion for technology, community, education, and an interest in learning new things. Experience facilitating or leading activities with youth and/or adults. A reliable space at home (or other quiet location) with dependable internet connectivity. Must be fluently bilingual in both French and English. Must be willing to complete Safeguarding training and have a clear background check. Tech‑savvy : Comfortable working with online platforms (Zoom, Google Workspace, Slack). Experience with databases or CRM software and Micro:Bits is an asset. Enthusiastic communicator : Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to represent the organization professionally in person and online. Organized : Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and stay organized without constant supervision. Flexible : Willingness to work a hybrid schedule; occasional evenings and weekends may be required. Application Requirements Be aged between 15 and 30 years old on the start date of the job. Have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN). Be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident of Canada, or a person who has been granted refugee status in Canada.
