We’re on the hunt for an Inventory Control Analyst on our Satellite systems team at our Montreal office. Role The Inventory Control Analyst is responsible for managing and optimizing the company's inventory levels. They ensure inventory accuracy, analyze inventory data, and provide strategic recommendations to improve operational efficiency and minimize inventory-related costs. Responsibilities Inventory Management: Monitor and maintain accuracy of inventory levels; coordinate inventory valuation activities, cost analysis, movement analysis, and inventory adjustments; ensure compliance with U.S., Canadian, and EU export control regulations, laws and sanctions and the Canadian Controlled Goods Program; analyze inventory trends and generate detailed reports; use analytical tools to forecast future needs and optimize stock levels; develop and maintain ad hoc or regular reports on inventory management. Interdepartmental Collaboration: Participate in training inventory management teams, ensuring proper application of procedures and policies. Continuous Improvement: Suggest and participate in initiatives to improve the efficiency of inventory management processes. Required Skills Education: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or related field. Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a similar role, preferably in the manufacturing sector. Ability to analyze complex data and draw relevant conclusions. Proficiency in inventory management and data analysis software such as Excel and ERP. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with different teams. Rigor and accuracy in tracking inventory data. Special Considerations Successful candidates must obtain and hold security clearance at the reliability status level, and pass a security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) .
