We’re looking for a Founding Partner – Agentic AI Systems’ Lead to own the design and implementation of AI agents across our portfolio - starting with AFFIRMAITIVE. What You’ll Do As the Agentic AI Partner for Launchpad Ventures, you will work closely with each startup’s founders and product leads to: Architect the Agentic Backbone Translate messy, real‑world founder and enterprise workflows into robust multi‑agent systems (research, planning, GTM, operations) that sit at the core of each venture. Design & Build Production‑Grade Agent Workflows Create a Reusable Agentic Playbook Codify patterns, prompts, tools, and evaluation methods into a playbook and internal libraries that can be reused across the Launchpad portfolio. Own “buy vs. build” decisions for our agent stack Stay on top of emerging agent platforms and open‑weight models, and make clear recommendations on where we should build in‑house vs. plug into existing tools. Your job is to help us pick the right foundation based on cost, security, and long‑term flexibility. Keep our agents fast, smart, and affordable Design the orchestration layer that routes work to the right models and tools so we don’t blow our API budget. You’ll balance cheaper models for routine tasks with higher‑end reasoning models where it really matters, and continuously tune for speed, reliability, and unit economics. Build governance‑first AI systems from day one Ensure all agent workflows are logged, explainable, and replayable, with clear audit trails and policy‑driven controls. Architect the system so it can align with ISO 42001 (AI governance), ISO 27001 (security), and ISO 27701 (privacy) as we scale. Initial Focus – AFFIRMAITIVE Design AFFIRMAITIVE’s Revenue Specialist as a reusable agentic module with a fixed mandate and standard workflows that adapt to each venture via a shared “venture profile” (business plan, target market, pricing, GTM, KPIs). Ship the v1 Agentic Stack: Build and deploy a v1 stack combining: A simple Agent Setup Wizard to onboard new ventures and configure agents from their AFFIRMAITIVE workspace. Ideal Profile - You likely have: Hands‑on experience building production systems with LLMs and modern AI tooling. A track record designing multi‑agent or complex workflow systems in B2B SaaS, data platforms, or applied AI. Strong skills in Python and/or TypeScript, plus familiarity with orchestration frameworks (LangChain, etc.). Comfort working directly with founders in early‑stage, ambiguous environments. A builder mindset and interest in equity‑first compensation with upside across multiple AI startups. Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and document grounding to allow agents to ingest and act upon proprietary, offline, or uploaded business data. You’re pragmatic, product‑oriented, and energized by turning agentic AI concepts into real, shipped capabilities. Targeting equity via options per venture you materially support, with a vesting schedule and clear delivery milestones. Ideally 1 day/week initially, over the next 4–6 months.
