Benefits And Pension Expertise Reporting to the Head of Total Rewards, you will join an agile and committed team where excellence and collaboration are at the heart of our success. In this strategic role, you will be a key driver in evolving our Employee Value Proposition (EVP). You will act as the subject matter expert for the design, interpretation, and governance of social protection programs. Your role is to ensure rigorous asset management while optimizing the employee experience: Advisory & Interpretation: Act as the primary resource for interpreting pension plan texts (DB, DC, Hybrid), group insurance contracts, and related HR policies. Partner Management: Monitor vendor performance, resolve complex contractual issues, and implement strategic action plans. Operational Governance: Oversee annual group insurance processes and collaborate with the pension plan administrator to secure recurring activities. Employee Engagement: Deploy communication and education initiatives to maximize employee understanding and analyze new solutions in benefits. Strategic Management Of Compensation Cycles You will orchestrate direct compensation programs, ensuring alignment between organizational performance and individual recognition. Annual Cycles: Coordinate salary review processes, incentive programs (bonuses), and the production of total rewards statements. Managerial Support: Advise and equip HR team members and managers on the application of compensation policies and programs. Optimization: Recommend and implement improvements to existing mechanisms to increase agility and precision. Compensation Architecture: Develop and implement robust tools, procedures, and salary structures to support company growth. Data Intelligence And Governance You will leverage data as a decision-making tool to ensure the sustainability and equity of our strategies: Market Intelligence: Conduct in-depth comparative analyses and monitor trends to propose innovative solutions for attraction and retention. Pay Equity & Shareholding: Ensure rigorous maintenance of pay equity and coordinate employee stock purchase programs. Performance Indicators (KPIs): Develop key performance indicators related to both compensation and benefits utilization to guide management decisions. Compliance: Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and fiduciary obligations related to all programs. Your Profile Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Actuarial Science, Administration, or Industrial Relations. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of specialized experience, with a demonstrated mastery of pension and group insurance management. Technical Proficiency: Advanced expertise with Google Workspace (particularly Google Sheets) or Excel. Analytical Skills: Excellent ability to structure complex data and produce clear, strategic analytical reports. HR Systems: Knowledge of Workday (a definite asset). Interpersonal Skills: Ability to simplify complex concepts for managers and employees, absolute discretion, and rigor. Languages: Fluency in French and an intermediate/advanced level of English.
