Overview Title: Sr. Structural Engineer Location: Oakville, ON Employment Type: Permanent Salary: $130-145k + Benefits We are seeking an experienced Sr. Structural Engineer with bridge experience to join the team of our exclusive client, a leader in Engineering. This hybrid role offers a balance of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility. Responsibilities Apply 15+ years of experience in structural engineering to lead and manage projects from design to completion. Supervise and coordinate the production of design drawings, ensuring compliance with industry standards and codes. Demonstrate proficiency with the Ontario Building Code, Canadian Highway Bridge Design Code (mandatory), and standards for concrete, steel, and wood structure design. Lead design processes using software tools such as AutoCAD and Microstation. Conduct site inspections and fulfill contract administration duties during the construction phase. Review contractor shop drawings and ensure quality control. Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors to support project success. Qualifications Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario. Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (Master's degree in Structural Engineering preferred). Valid Class G Ontario Driver's License. Extensive experience in designing Bridge, concrete, steel, and wood structures.
