Position Overview Position: Media Manager/Merchandiser Dealership: Maple Ridge Volkswagen Location: Pitt Meadows, BC Classification: Full Time, Onsite, Immediate Hire Salary: $50,000/year Maple Ridge Volkswagen, part of AutoCanada, seeks a Media Manager/Merchandiser to manage and organize vehicle inventory at the dealership, ensuring accurate presentation and availability for sale. Responsibilities Post pictures of vehicles and stock them in internal systems. Collaborate closely with sales and service managers to facilitate inventory movement. Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date inventory records in the dealership’s inventory management system. Conduct regular physical inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies. Monitor inventory levels to ensure an adequate supply of vehicles for sales and service departments. Coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of vehicles within the dealership. Update inventory status, including new arrivals, sales, and transfers. Generate and analyze inventory reports to provide insights to management. Support inventory needs in collaboration with sales, service, and finance departments. Ensure compliance with dealership policies and industry regulations regarding inventory management. Perform vehicle appraisals. Procure cars from walk‑in customers, online listings, and/or auctions. Qualifications Completion of a High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience in the automotive or hospitality industry preferred. Knowledge of CDK computer operating system or similar systems is an asset. Professional demeanor with exceptional client service skills. Conscientious, thorough, accurate, and reliable in task completion. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Accurate and efficient typing skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multi‑task in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment under urgent deadlines. Sound business judgment with a problem‑solving, client‑focused, results‑oriented approach. Excellent document creation, review, and proofreading skills. Process‑oriented with superior attention to detail and accuracy. Results‑driven, career‑focused with an entrepreneurial spirit. Valid driver’s licence and safe driving record.
