Builds and maintains customer relationships while working to achieve maximum SCHUNK sales penetration. Identifies customer applications and programs that present an opportunity for SCHUNK Workholding, Toolholding and Automation sales. Proposes solutions to these customers and leverages resources from inside sales and distribution partners to achieve sales goals and customer satisfaction. Maintain customer contact and information via CRM database. Travels throughout assigned territory to call on regular or prospective customers to solicit orders. Displays or demonstrates product, using samples or catalog, and emphasizes features likely to generate sales. Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares quotations for orders obtained. Review supplied quotations and follows up to meet or exceed quote-hit-rate goal. Prepares reports of business transactions and maintains expense reports. Works with inside sales representatives to keep account activities and call reports up to date through CRM system. Coordinates customer and distributor training.
