The Specialist configuration control is a member of the engineering documentation management team. He/she is responsible for the configuration and documentation management for several complex design projects. As a Specialist Configuration Control, Your Key Responsibilities Include Performing tasks related to at least one type of configuration product, whether software files, technical drawings, or manufacturing documents Interacting with internal customers, editors, engineers, quality assurance, the airworthiness group, the marketing department, and other employees regarding project configuration Providing support for the review, formatting, and preparation of documents for internal customers Producing activity reports Supporting process improvement initiatives related to department configuration Providing support to engineers and users regarding configuration management tools and processes Performing other duties as assigned To Excel In This Role, You Should Have College diploma in administration or related discipline Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience during which the candidate has progressively acquired responsibilities Proficiency in managing at least one type of configuration product (including software files, technical drawings, or manufacturing documents), with demonstrated knowledge of at least one other type.
