Job Summary This position is responsible for planning, designing, and implementing enterprise infrastructure, including networks, data centers, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans to meet business requirements. The role also involves researching emerging technologies and recommending solutions that enhance cost-effectiveness and infrastructure flexibility. How you will make a difference Design, implement, and maintain the organization’s infrastructure, ensuring all IT hardware, software, servers, clients, and networks function securely and efficiently. Manage, monitor, and update existing infrastructure components as business needs evolve, evaluating and operationalizing new services and features in alignment with industry best practices. Contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity planning, and test these plans. Implement monitoring solutions for OMA systems and configure alerts based on data. Serve as a subject matter expert on projects involving cloud and on‑premises technologies. Perform day‑to‑day administration and troubleshooting for on‑prem and cloud systems. Requirements University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and hands‑on experience. Six to nine years of relevant experience supporting enterprise IT infrastructure in an internal IT environment. Proven expertise managing network infrastructure, including switches and wireless access points (Cisco, Aruba, or equivalent), with strong knowledge of VLANs, routing, PoE, Wi‑Fi security, RF troubleshooting, and high‑availability designs. Advanced experience administering Palo Alto firewalls, including security policy design, NAT, VPNs (site‑to‑site and remote access), threat prevention, logging, and HA configurations (PCNSA required; PCNSE preferred). Strong experience with Microsoft 365 administration, including Intune device management, Windows infrastructure services (Active Directory, Domain Controllers, DNS, DHCP), virtualization platforms such as Hyper‑V (VMM, SCCM) and VMware vCenter / vSphere. The OMA has moved to a permanent hybrid work environment. The individual in this position will be required to work a minimum number of days in our Toronto office.
