Design robust, scalable and secure solutions for data management, storage and mining; Design robust, scalable and secure solutions for data management, storage and mining; Develop conceptual, logical and physical models tailored to business needs and technical constraints; Supervise or design integration flows (ETL/ELT), data pipelines and orchestration mechanisms; Participate in the implementation of data quality, security, cataloguing and traceability policies; Monitor technological developments and propose technologies suited to the organization’s ecosystem; Produce and maintain technical and functional documentation for data solutions; Provide technical support and coaching to developers, analysts or data engineering specialists, depending on the team structure; Ensure data governance and regulatory compliance by integrating legal requirements (e.g., Law 25, GDPR, ISO) and promoting transparency, quality and accountability. Keys to your success Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Certification in a relevant technology (AWS, Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, etc.); 8 years of IT experience, including 2 to 3 large-scale projects delivered as a data architecture advisor; Experience in ETL/ELT, data virtualisation, architecture design, and the implementation of data lakes and data integration solutions; Experience with several technologies in the following categories: Relational and NoSQL databases: SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, Neo4j; Orchestration and transformation tools: Talend, Informatica, Apache NiFi, dbt, Airflow; Languages: SQL (essential), Python, Scala, Java; Modelling tools: Erwin, PowerDesigner, dbt, Lucidchart, ArchiMate, Draw.io; Data governance tools: Microsoft Purview, Collibra, Alation, Informatica Axon. Proficiency in one of the following cloud environments: Azure (Data Lake, Synapse, Data Factory (Fabric)); AWS (Redshift, S3, Lake Formation, Databricks, SageMaker); GCP (asset). Strong leadership, initiative, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across all levels of the organization. Experience or interest in machine learning or data science.
