Delivering relationship-based, patient-centered, full-scope practice, with an awareness around cultural safety combined with a sensitivity toward Indigenous wellness. This is the core of healthcare in the north; you will be providing high level care in rural and remote settings. NMS sites are well-equipped, staffed with other physicians and support workers, and most utilize remote presence technology. Job Qualifications College of Family Physicians of Canada, American College of Family Physicians or equivalent. College of Physicians and Surgeons of Saskatchewan full licence, plus ACLS also ATLS, PALS, ALARM, NRP, etc. highly recommended. Must love the rural and remote north. NMS covers your travel costs as well as accommodations. Housing is in two and three bedroom condos, and virtually all amenities required are provided. Additional Information Independent Itinerant Contracts: Medium to long-term contracts in a single northern location. Plan your life in a steady rotation with a fixed schedule. Usually a 26-week commitment (two-week-in/two-week-out rotation/yr. Half-time: two-week-in/six-week-out rotations. Locums are as needed, usually two-weeks at a time, but shorter placements are often available.
