Job Description The ISTAR Electronic Warfare (EW) team is seeking a Systems Engineering Analyst to support delivery of critical capabilities for the Canadian Army. You will be working with a multidisciplinary engineering team to deliver Intelligence, Reconnaissance, Target Acquisition and Surveillance capabilities into a fully integrated tactical network, capable of providing flexible, multi‑role and combat‑capable communications, command and control. Specifically, the EW team is defining and building solutions to integrate EW sensor information into networks capable of supporting intelligence processing for command and control. You will be part of an agile development team, responsible for designing, integrating and validating solutions in accordance with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).ResponsibilitiesElicit requirements from end users and document in requirement management toolsCoordinate system engineering activities with specialty engineering teams such as Safety, Security, HFE/UXPerform architecture and/or design activities to decompose user requirements to technical solutionsProduce standard architecture/design artifacts such as operational or system views using DNDAF, use cases, system interfaces, trade studies, etcPerform reviews of technical documentationSupport resolution of system defectsSupport development, verification and validation activities as requiredProvide coaching and mentorship to team membersIt is a requirement that General Dynamics Mission Systems-Canada be registered with the Canadian Controlled Goods program and that all of its workforce be security assessed. Successful applicants must meet all applicable security requirements, including but not limited to the ability to obtain and maintain a Canadian government security clearance. Applicants may be required to meet additional security requirements in order to gain access to technical data, classified areas or information that is subject to international regulations.
