Regional Account Manager Fort McMurray, AB This senior sales position is based in Fort McMurray, covering the regional market. The Regional Account Manager will develop and execute long‑term account strategies to drive growth with key and emerging industrial clients, build and maintain senior‑level relationships, lead strategic business reviews, and manage complex sales cycles—including large RFPs, technical proposals, and commercial negotiations. The role involves overseeing a diverse territory, prioritizing high‑value opportunities, expanding revenue within existing accounts, and identifying new markets for growth. Key Responsibilities Create and implement long‑term account strategies for key and developing industrial clients across multiple sectors Shape customer requirements, specifications, and evaluation criteria to position solutions effectively Establish and nurture senior‑level relationships while leading ongoing business reviews Drive complex sales cycles, including large‑scale RFPs/RFQs and technical proposals Lead commercial negotiations on pricing, contracts, SLAs, and MSAs in partnership with leadership Ensure accurate forecasting while actively managing pipeline health, risk, and deal advancement Oversee a diverse territory, prioritizing high‑value opportunities across industries Coordinate multi‑site project rollouts and align internal stakeholders for seamless execution Serve as the primary escalation point for resolving service, quality, and logistics challenges Track market trends, competitive activity, and regulatory developments impacting the business Grow revenue within existing accounts through cross‑selling, diversification, and solution‑oriented sales approaches Identify and pursue new market segments and adjacent growth opportunities Deliver insights and feedback to inform product innovation and strategic planning Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams including Operations, Customer Service, and Technical groups Qualifications Post‑secondary education in Business, Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory) Experience leading RFP processes and negotiating large‑scale agreements 5+ years of enterprise or senior‑level sales experience in industrial, chemical, or O&G sectors Proven success managing complex, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles Strong commercial acumen (ROI, TCO, pricing models, contract negotiation) Ability to engage and influence executive‑level stakeholders across functions Highly organized and comfortable utilizing a CRM Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organization, and presentation skills Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines Possess a valid driver’s license Willingness to travel as required throughout the region Compensation & Benefits Base salary between $130,000 and $150,000, plus uncapped commissions and an OTE of $200,000+ Company vehicle Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada without sponsorship. #J-18808-Ljbffr
