Mechanical Turnaround Coordinator (Mechanical, Millwright, Pipefitter, Boilermaker) This contract role provides mechanical field coordination during a turnaround , overseeing both static and rotating equipment work fronts and ensuring safety, quality, and schedule targets are met. Contract Details 3‑ or 6‑month contract depending on assignment Anticipated start: November/December Pre‑planning: 9/80 schedule Execution: 6×12s Location: Onsite in Fort Saskatchewan Key Responsibilities Coordinate and prioritize daily mechanical field activities across multiple contractors Provide oversight of static and rotating equipment , including pumps, compressors, vessels, exchangers, and piping tie‑ins Interface with contractors, planners, QA/QC, engineering, and operations Support resolution of field issues impacting safety, quality, or productivity Ensure work is executed in accordance with approved procedures and specifications Support execution readiness , punch list closure, and turnover activities Provide daily progress input for schedule and reporting updates Qualifications & Experience Journeyperson Millwright, Boilermaker, or Pipefitter 12–15+ years mechanical maintenance or construction experience Significant turnaround/shutdown execution experience Strong field leadership , contractor coordination, and mechanical troubleshooting capability
