We are looking to hire a Class 1 Owner-Operator for City Pickup & Delivery who knows Hay River and the area. Responsibilities Responsible for the pickup and delivery of freight within the Hay River service area, while adhering to company policies and procedures Efficiently and safely picking up and delivering LTL freight Must prioritize all shipments to make all-time critical commitments and Rock Solid deliveries Working as a team with the dispatcher and dock personnel to ensure all freight is delivered on time Responsible for loading/unloading your own truck Operate within the standards and requirements as outlined in the contract Must have a truck available every day for work assignments Maintaining a strong focus on providing excellent customer service Qualifications Class 1 license (clean abstract) Must have WSIB Coverage 1 year of LTL experience Physically Fit Reliable and dependable TDG, WHMIS, and Forklift experience is an asset, and is willing to be trained Must be able to provide a criminal record check, driver's abstract, and 2 work-related supervisory references.
