Job Description The Paid Social Specialist is a highly organized, detail-oriented, and team-focused individual with strong technical skills across paid social platforms, including Facebook/Instagram (required), Twitter (required), Pinterest (asset), and Snapchat (asset). Social Specialists are responsible for assisting the Supervisor or Manager in the creation and execution of holistic social media plans for their brands. This role involves collecting and analyzing large volumes of marketing data related to clients and their competitors in order to determine advertising and media needs and ensure plans are properly executed and delivered. Plans typically include analysis and recommendations related to targeting, geography, scheduling, levels of support, strategic executions, and budgets. In addition to managing the work of coordinators/analysts they may supervise, Social specialists are in daily contact with clients and collaborate closely with the Strategy and Investment teams. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of consumers, creativity, negotiation skills, and exceptional attention to detail. Responsibilities Assist the Supervisor/Manager in developing social media plan recommendations for assigned clients based on campaign objectives and target audiences Maintain regular communication with the Supervisor/Manager regarding brand and team status Build a positive client experience and maintain trusted relationships through daily communications Execute social media campaigns, including media buying on self-serve platforms and through managed services Ensure all assigned projects are executed according to approved plans Manage, analyze, and optimize social media placements throughout campaigns Collaborate with web analysts to produce campaign reports and ROI performance analyses Ensure all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy Research, compile, and provide research documentation as needed Participate in assigned client meetings and presentations Proactively identify project-related issues, contribute to their resolution, and provide progress updates Qualifications 1–2 years of experience in social media planning and buying Facebook Blueprint certification and/or other relevant certifications (asset) Knowledge of social media platforms and best practices for both organic and paid usage Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced knowledge of Excel Strong analytical skills Strong quantitative abilities, including analytical capabilities and solid math skills Ability to use media research and reporting tools effectively Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills Excellent project management, problem-solving, and organizational skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines under pressure Extended public holidays : Enjoy added Mondays and Fridays around provincial holidays for four-day weekends, as well as office closures during Christmas and New Year’s Day Hybrid work model combining flexibility and collaboration Work Your World program , allowing you to work remotely for up to six weeks in any country where we operate Comprehensive group insurance , including medical, dental, vision, psychological, and paramedical coverage, salary insurance, and support for fertility and gender transition Internal support and assistance programs for fertility, gender transition, and cancer care Employer-matched RRSP plan Zenith is an equal opportunity employer, and we encourage applications from all qualified individuals.
