Our client, a boutique firm in the tri-cities area, is seeking a full-time Family Lawyer to join its growing family law practice. This position offers a mix of stability, autonomy, and the opportunity to build a long-term family law practice within a supportive environment. Responsibilities Manage a growing caseload of family law files with autonomy Provide strategic legal advice across a wide range of family matters Draft pleadings, agreements, and other required family law documents Conduct legal research to support case strategy Represent clients confidently in court, including chambers appearances Participate in negotiations, mediations, and dispute resolution processes Collaborate with a supportive team of lawyers, paralegals, and support staff Contribute to file growth through strong client service and personal practice development Qualifications 5 years overall legal experience or minimum 3 years dedicated to family law Experience with chambers applications and some exposure to trials/hearings Strong advocacy, negotiation, and client management skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative, close-knit team Knowledge of BC family law legislation, rules, and court procedures Active membership in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia A book of business is an asset, but not required #J-18808-Ljbffr
