About Visual Capitalist For 15 years, we’ve been the global leaders in data storytelling, fusing art, data, and narrative together to visualize the insights that matter, and the megatrends that affect us all.And in that time, our data stories have received over 1 billion views, and acclaim from leaders and decision makers around the world.Hiring: Senior Editor (Global Trends and Insights) After our most successful quarter on record, we are looking to expand our team.Senior Editor (Global Trends and Insights):Focused on data-driven stories on demographics, geography, and the “wait-what?” insights that emerge from maps, rankings, and other highly visual, exploratory datasets.This position will report into the Managing Editor, and will lead a team of approximately 4-6 researchers, journalists, and graphic designers.Responsibilities You will be responsible for executing our publishing strategy within your assigned vertical, overseeing the full scope of creating data-driven visuals and articles for the Visual Capitalist website and audience.This includes ideation, research, data cleaning, brief writing, visualization, revisions, and preparing stories for publication.This is ahands-on editorial leadership role . You’ll guide a team, but you’ll also be directly involved in discovering datasets, shaping visual narratives, and refining stories until they’re clear, accurate, and compelling.This isnota pure management role, nor a traditional newsroom desk.
