A boutique architectural practice specializing in residential, hospitality and commercial projects is looking for a Senior Architectural Technologist to join their team. Led by a multidisciplinary principal in the Calgary core. *this is an in office position, with flexibility (some Fridays from home) Responsibilities: Oversee the technical drawing phase across projects Produce and coordinate high-quality construction documents in Revit Lead the coordination of drawing packages with internal teams and external consultants Support contract administration and site review processes throughout project delivery Ensure all drawings meet applicable building codes, standards, and AHJ requirements Develop and resolve technical solutions and detailing responses as needed Collaborate closely with clients, contractors, and consultants throughout the project lifecycle Work alongside senior design architects and small, collaborative project teams Contribute to delivering projects on time and within budget Independently execute full construction document packages Coordinate and manage sub-consultant documentation and integration Remain hands-on in drawing production and technical detailing Detail and resolve complex or atypical construction conditions Support and provide guidance to junior team members Qualifications: Minimum of 8 years’ experience as an architectural technologist, local experience is strongly preferred. Prior commercial, residential and/ or hospitality project experience is required. Architectural Technology Diploma or equivalent and LEED AP is considered a strong asset. Strong proficiency in Revit. Experience of executing on construction documents without supervision is required. Sound knowledge of local building codes and bylaws is a must. The successful candidate will receive an attractive compensation package starting at $80K - $95K (dependent on experience), extended benefits and a flexible working environment.
