A career as a Financial Crime Analyst in the Financial Crime Management team at National Bank allows you to act as a specialist in preventing and monitoring money laundering and terrorist financing activities. Leveraging your expertise in risk management, analytical skills, and ability to detect irregularities, you will contribute directly to protecting the Bank and its clients while ensuring compliance. Your role Prevent and detect suspicious cases by conducting analyses based on precise standards. Ensure rigorous monitoring of high-risk clients and recommend appropriate actions. Report suspicious transactions to FINTRAC within regulatory timelines. Collaborate with various sectors of the Bank to provide your expertise. Conduct research and document cases clearly and factually. Participate in the improvement of risk management systems and processes. Play a crucial role in supporting and mentoring the team. Your team The Financial Crime Management team is composed of over 100 specialists passionate about risk management and regulatory compliance. You will report to the Director of Financial Crime Management – AML/ATF and work within an agile, collaborative team. At National Bank, we value continuous development and internal mobility. Basic requirements Hold a degree related to the field (bachelor’s degree or equivalent) and relevant experience. Possess strong analytical and synthesis skills. Have a solid understanding of banking products and financial operations. Be familiar with money laundering and terrorist financing indicators. Be comfortable using tools such as Word and Excel. Languages Reason to require this language: you will need to serve clients who speak a language other than French regularly.
