Application Support Subject Matter Expert 11/07/2025 Contract Active Job Description: Job Summary: We are seeking an Application Support Subject Matter Expert (SME) specializing in Site Reliability Engineering and regulatory financial systems. This role is essential for maintaining the stability, performance, and compliance of applications supporting FED reporting, Client Balance Sheet reporting, and Firm Capital Reporting. The ideal candidate will possess a foundational understanding of investment banking systems, automation, observability, and regulatory reporting tools, along with a strong aptitude for self-learning and taking ownership of critical projects. Key Responsibilities: Provide application support for regulatory financial systems, ensuring system stability and compliance. Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues in a timely manner. Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to enhance system reliability and performance. Participate in automation and observability initiatives to improve monitoring and operational efficiency. Lead or assist in critical projects related to system upgrades, incident management, and performance optimization. Maintain thorough documentation of system issues, resolutions, and process improvements. Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal audit standards for financial reporting systems. Work on a rotational schedule, including weekends, holidays, and second shifts as required. Required Skills: Basic understanding of investment banking and regulatory reporting systems. Knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and automation practices. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Familiarity with observability tools and techniques. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Strong initiative and self-learning capability. Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
