Position Purpose The Sr. Analyst, Pro Operations leverages strong analytical and problem-solving skills to support initiatives that strengthen and sustain the Pro ecosystem. This role delivers insights and data‑driven recommendations that enhance associate experience and drive sales performance. Working cross‑functionally, the Sr. Analyst owns defined components of larger initiatives, applies sound judgment and financial acumen, and effectively communicates findings to support business priorities. Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities Analytics (≈40% of responsibilities) Data extraction of sales, customer purchasing behaviors, and order data at the SKU level across various time horizons. Pre‑ and post‑financial analysis to measure success of Pro Operations initiatives. Creation and maintenance of weekly or ad‑hoc reporting for field partners. Development of dashboards to reduce dependency on push reports. Effective communication (≈30% of responsibilities) Presentation of analysis results to project leaders, operations leaders, merchandising and store operations stakeholders, external vendors, and senior leadership during project or operations updates. Establishment and maintenance of communication channels with team members, management, and business units. Creation of clear and accurate documents and presentations delivered to a wide variety of stakeholders. Development and reporting on KPIs related to Pro Operations initiatives. Business acumen (≈30% of responsibilities) Development and execution of continuous improvement of Pro Operations initiatives. Employment of project management techniques on strategic and tactical projects to ensure deliverables are met or exceeded. Incorporation of industry best practices, including learning from THD US Pro Operations team. Solicitation of feedback from internal stakeholder groups to support decision making. Ad‑hoc projects and assignments as required. Troubleshooting and problem solving for ongoing operational needs as they arise. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies Engineering, Mathematics, Business, or other related post‑secondary degree. 4+ years of analytics experience, preferably in retail. Strong analytical skills with experience using SQL, Tableau, Google BigQuery, PowerBI. Ability to develop and apply financial business cases and draw accurate conclusions from data to present to a variety of stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross‑functional teams. Experience leading multi‑functional projects or initiatives. Demonstrated project management skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Self‑starter, efficient, organized and able to produce high‑quality work under pressure and in a timely fashion.
