Job details Location: Fernie, BC V0B 1M0 Salary: 105,000 to 120,000 annually (To be negotiated) Hours: 40 hours per week Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time Field: Geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering, Civil engineering, other Experience 5 years or more. Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Responsibilities Conduct geotechnical programs for data acquisition, analysis and mapping Supervise technologists, technicians and other engineers and scientists Prepare recommendations and reports for the construction or improvement of civil engineering projects Analyze reports and prepare recommendations on settlement of buildings, stability of slopes, and effects of earthquakes to support construction and civil engineering projects Credentials Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.
