We are looking for a reliable Journeyperson (or 4th year) who takes pride in quality repairs, works efficiently, and respects shop processes.As a Journeyperson Automotive Service Technician, you will be responsible for accurate diagnosis, efficient repairs, and clear communication to ensure work is completed correctly the first time.This role suits a technician who is experienced, driven, accountable, and comfortable working in a professional shop environment.ResponsibilitiesPerform accurate repairs in accordance with manufacturer repair procedures.Clearly document and communicate whether future work is recommended (manufacturer guidelines) or required (worn, failed, or safety-related components).Perform mechanical, electrical, and electronic repairs.Identify and communicate any necessary repairs or maintenance issues that may affect vehicle performance or reliability.Accurately complete work orders and technician notes.Communicate effectively with Service Advisors regarding work completed.Supervise and support Apprentices when required.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.Attend all required technical and Government required training as per company training policies.Follow all company policies, safety standards, and provincial regulations.QualificationsJourneyperson Automotive Service Technician (Red Seal an asset).35 years automotive repair experience.Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.Valid Class 5 drivers' license.Reliable, punctual, and professional.Proficient with computerized diagnostic tools and equipment.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and repair manuals.Physically fit and capable of lifting 50+ lbs.Safety-first mindset with knowledge of WHMIS and OH&S regulation.Please note that wage is up to $42.00 and based on level & experience.#J-18808-Ljbffr
