We’re Hiring: Databricks Serverless Migration Architect We are looking for an experienced Databricks Serverless Migration Architect to lead the transformation of our data platform from Classic cluster-based compute to Databricks Serverless compute . This is a high-impact role focused on modernizing data pipelines, improving performance, and driving significant cloud cost optimization . What You’ll Do Lead migration of Databricks workloads (ETL, BI, streaming) from Classic clusters to Serverless Design and implement Serverless-first lakehouse architecture Refactor notebooks, jobs, and pipelines to remove cluster dependencies Optimize Spark workloads for performance and DBU cost reduction Implement Unity Catalog, governance, and security best practices Define migration strategy, roadmap, and execution approach Requirements 7–10+ years in Data Engineering / Cloud Architecture Strong hands-on experience with Databricks (mandatory) Proven experience migrating Classic Databricks workloads to Serverless Strong expertise in Apache Spark, Delta Lake, and SQL tuning Experience with ETL, BI, and streaming pipelines in production Solid understanding of GCP data platforms Experience with Databricks Workflows and data pipeline orchestration Nice to Have Informatica, Qlik, Terraform (IaC) experience Large-scale migration experience (SAP / DB2 / Netezza to Databricks) Proven cost optimization impact (20–60% DBU savings) #J-18808-Ljbffr
