Responsibilities Interpret technical requirements from various internal and/or external clients and translate them into concrete service offerings. Develop a design and development plan for complex systems (which may include the integration of electrical components), through to prototype development and/or mass production. Collaborate with vehicle engineering teams, the EV (vehicle electrification) development team, manufacturing engineering, and suppliers throughout the various stages of the project development process. Contribute to the definition of performance criteria and develop comparison matrices for different concepts, with the goal of guiding teams in their designs. Conduct studies, analyses, and calculations to guide designers and project managers using general and specific technical parameters. Monitor the evolution of different designs to ensure that deliverables are achieved. Qualifications Ability to work in a project start‑up environment where objectives are still being defined. Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Minimum of 5 years of experience in product design. Experience in product architecture and full product development cycles, from prototype phases through to production. Good knowledge of various manufacturing processes and materials. Good spoken and written communication skills in French and English (the person will be required to speak with suppliers and other collaborators outside the country).
