Job Title: Payroll Lead /Specialist Immediate Hire! Location: Downtown Toronto (Hybrid 3-4 days on site) Industry: Corporate Family Office Salary: $80-85,000, plus excellent benefits and other perks Responsibilities Our client is a large multi-entity, multi-generational private family office. This position will report into the Senior Manager HR Operations and work with the HR Coordinator who looks after benefit administration. Responsibilities would include but not be limited to: Managing the end-to-end payroll for multiple entities (Ontario payroll only) and mainly salaried employees. Ensuring all payroll processes are submitted before the deadline. Working with accounting to ensure accurate payroll transactions are recorded properly for salaries, garnishments, taxes, benefits, and other deductions. Being a competent collaborator and skilled cross-functional communicator; working closely with Human Resources and other areas within the organization. Ensuring compliance with federal, provincial laws and best practices. Assisting with other payroll duties, as assigned. Qualifications Post-secondary education in Payroll or related field; PCP is preferred. 8+ years of experience in payroll, with 2+ years in a lead, specialist or stand-alone role.
