Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Counsellor/Therapist/Psychologist based in Saskatoon, SK. The successful candidate will provide individual, couple, and/or family therapy, including intake assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing counseling sessions. Daily responsibilities include conducting clinical assessments, maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation, and monitoring client progress toward therapeutic goals. The role involves collaborating with other practitioners or community resources when appropriate, while maintaining client confidentiality and ethical standards. The practitioner will also participate in case consultations, engage in regular professional development, and contribute to a supportive, client-centered practice environment. Qualifications Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Registered Psychologist, Registered Social Worker, Counsellor, or related mental health professional in Saskatchewan. Demonstrated or dedication skills in clinical assessment, treatment planning, and delivery of individual and/or couples and family therapy using evidence-informed approaches. Strong ability to build rapport, establish therapeutic alliances, and maintain clear professional boundaries with clients from diverse backgrounds. Proficiency in maintaining accurate, timely clinical notes, managing confidential records, and following ethical and legal guidelines for mental health practice. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate with colleagues, community providers, and other stakeholders when needed. Capacity to manage a full-time caseload, prioritize tasks, and maintain professional self-care and resilience in a clinical environment. Bachelors/Master’s degree or equivalent in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field; additional certifications in specific therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, EMDR, EFT, trauma-informed care) are an asset. Experience or dedication to working with a range of presenting concerns (such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, grief, and life transitions) and with clients of varied ages and identities. Comfort with using electronic health record systems and basic office technology for scheduling, documentation, and secure communication.
