Requirements Level 2 General Insurance License 2–3 years of experience in the Commercial Division Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills Strong sense of urgency and motivation to support your team Pro‑active and a self‑starter Excellent client service and interpersonal abilities Strong attention to detail and accuracy Thrives in a fast‑paced environment Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Typing speed of at least 55 wpm Acts as liaison between client, Account Managers, Account Executives and Marketers Update client information as changes occur Answer account‑related questions/requests from clients, lawyers and banks Provide policy and coverage information to clients upon request or inquiry Asset Experience That Will Make You Stand Out Industry designation (CIP, CAIB, CRM, General Insurance & Risk Management Diploma – BCIT) Accounting experience Experience with EPIC, Policy Works, CSR24 and Certificate Exchange A Day in the Life Delivers exceptional customer experience to internal and external customers Demonstrates good technical insurance knowledge of coverages Follows HUB Service Guidelines Supports Account Executive/Account Manager and Marketer in servicing commercial accounts Acts as primary customer‑service contact in their absence Responds to customer requests directly, submits information to insurance companies and binds coverage where appropriate Attends Critical Path meetings and follows up on action items Prepares proposals, rate sheets, correspondence, certificates and invoices as per agency standards Prepares cover notes on accounts marketed by production team Processes all documentation according to HUB workflows (Certificates of Insurance, cover notes, summaries and proposals, new business, renewals and endorsements, premium finance contracts, invoicing) Attaches documentation into EPIC (client instruction and bind orders, instruction to marketing team and related information) Assists Account Executive/Account Manager with managing account receivables and reconciliation with Accounting Team Reviews and prioritises all assigned tasks daily Maintains accuracy of electronic files in EPIC, Policy Works, CSR24 and physical files per agency standards Reviews and ensures accuracy of policy documentation from insurers Continues professional development Protects HUB from E&O Other duties as assigned Where This Can Take You We invest in employees with coaching, mentorship and sales training to ensure success now and in the future.
